Looking more at Search Engine Optimization, the more I begin to believe the term is all wrong. It suggests to optimize for search engines while a search engine is just another visitor. It therefore qualifies as website visitor and has to be treated as such. When we change the term, “Search Engine Optimization” into “Website Visitor Optimization“, something immediately becomes clear. We are back to optimizing for our visitors again. The only right way, in my humble opinion.
