Is Darkside of DotComSecrets a Spamming Course
After watching the free videos on Russell Brunson’s Website it became clear that it is not only spamming but, also possibly a violation of the one or more terms set by the companies. For instance the third video talks about how to exploit twitter basically by tweeting their own trends. Then it is clearly said in the video to delete the post after five minutes and post again. Well, this is what Twitter has to say about it!
Quote ”
To make sure you’re not spamming folks, we also suggest you avoid the following:
* Posting duplicate updates to an account: Posting the same update over and over throughout the day is considered spammy and a possible violation of our terms of service.
* Cross-posting duplicate updates to multiple accounts: If you post the same update to multiple accounts, you could violate our terms of service.
* Following churn: Following and unfollowing the same people repeatedly, as well as following and unfollowing those who don’t follow back, are both violations of our terms of service.” End quote.
Then Twitter invites their whole community to expose these type of account holders. Twitter elegantly calls it a tip!
Quote ”
Tip: Think you’ve encountered a spammer? Let us know, and we’ll look into the account. You can alert us to spam profiles by sending a direct message to @spam! In addition, you can block the spammer by heading to their account page, and on the right side, clicking the block link (they won’t know you’ve blocked them).
“End quote.
You can find it on this page at the bottom.
It is true, spamming works and that is the obvious reason it is still around but, consider the following. Even though it might work for now, you will position yourself for trouble. With all respect to Russell and his “Gang” the fact of the matter is that it is black-hat which means your on the edge of the knife and about to fall of any second now. Another difference between most people and Russell Brunson is, Russell has already established a multi-million-dollar-internet-business for himself and surely has build in some type of safety-net. Not to mention his huge team of paid professionals that will keep him ahead of the game.
In short, Yes it is possible these black-hat tactics will give you a temporarily advantage and maybe it is just enough to put you on the map BUT, it could also brand you as a spammer by the companies you are using and the people that should have been your prospects.
Since the video suggests to even hide your identity and pretend to be a woman you might get away with it, most of your clients will never know the difference. Unfortunately once again ethics and moral has gotten a price tag. But maybe that has always been the case already…
