About Paul Hendrix
Owning a small business renting myself as a theater and musical events technician mostly supporting and building the lighting of the show. Except for sound I’ve done many different other things in this broad sector. Building mega stages, gigantic tents, moving complete opera productions from theater to theater and much more. Also now and then I clean, build and re-build chimneys. That’s because my younger brother has a business in this sector and doing pretty well. Being “active” online for many years I’ve had been privileged to have some successes. One website has basically exploded a couple of years ago. It suddenly started getting hundreds of thousands of visitors and with that a lot of unwanted attention too. At that time completely overwhelmed by all of it, poor little single me was suddenly facing some of the industry leaders putting the pressure on. To make a long story short, I got intimidated and pulled back, shut down the site and hid under a rock for the last few years.

Years of screwing around with websites and internet data followed. Dozens if not hundreds of products, courses, services, websites and experts have been reviewed over that period of time. Ranging from doing simple computer task faster all the way up to complicated website optimization, internet acquisition, science classes, financial research and much, much more. Absorbing everything to (hopefully) one day being able to positively contribute to one or more people’s lives.
About My Other Interests..
This part is about my personal hobbies and private life…so, I won’t be offended if you don’t read this.
One thing that I am particularly proud of is the bass-guitar below that I’ve built. It took a while before I had gotten to the point that I could build my own instrument though. And with a lot of help from people around me providing expert advice, quality material, machines and more, I was able to finish my self-build-fantasy-bass-guitar. If you are one of many that do not instantly recognize what the form of the Honduras Mahogany body represents, here is a hint. See the fingernails? No? Ok. There is a finger that is almost parallel to the neck of the guitar…you see it now? Then it is attached to a hand and continues with the lower arm. At the end of the body is the elbow and the rest is supposed to be the upper arm. The inner form (black) is made of laminated dark black Ebony wood. The neck is Birdseye Maple with a Honduras Mahogany curl on top of the head. I intended to make it an arm with a guitar playing hand. However, it turned out that the best option was to make the middle finger stick out
…I guess sometimes you just have to take things as they come.

Next obvious question could be, do you play in a band? Yes, every Tuesday me and two guys try to meet and kick ass. Since my job often means to travel it is nearly impossible to start a decent group. Therefore we have decided to meet and make music among ourselves with a very occasional local gig in the bar of a friend of ours. The music rooted from stuff I play at home and has been most generously been adopted and adapted by the two other members which is not always easy for them. It requires a lot to try to feel a musical feeling someone else has come up with. Hmmm…that last sentence might have sound a little weird but, ‘surely when you play an instrument you will know what I’m talking about. Anyways, we do it with a lot of joy including the “occasionally musicians dramas” that comes with being in a band working with creative people…I know, I do this for a living.

My apartment is located in what’s nearly the most southern tip of the Netherlands. The place is called Heerlen which (to me as an inhabitant) has nothing much to talk about. It’s where I live and am used to the customs, most of my friends and family live nearby so, I feel most comfortable there! I share my apartment with my partner Judith who is from Germany Cologne and has studied Physiotherapy in my town. Right after she finished her education we met, that’s when I seized the moment… she’s been living with me ever since!
Well, that’s it.
Hopefully this gave you an idea of whom you are engaging with. If you have any question at all don’t be shy, mail me!
To YOUR Success…
